We are accepting proposals for paper sessions, panels, and student posters. Proposals are due by June 30, 2017.

The annual conference offers many opportunities to interact with women across the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. General sessions allow participants to understand what is happening on other campuses, learn about successes and challenges, and strategize about how to effectively advocate for women. Keynote speakers deliver thought-provoking messages to inspire.  Breakout sessions provide a wide variety of topics, including feminist leadership, self-care, recruitment and retention strategies, and historical and cultural perspectives on issues pertinent to women. Discussions during meals and break times provide additional opportunities to network with colleagues, reunite with friends, and build ongoing connections across the State System.

The PASSHE Women’s Consortium (the Consortium) is the only organization within the State System that acts on behalf of all women—faculty, staff, administrators, and students. The Consortium’s initiatives include an annual conference dedicated to women’s and gender issues, and summer leadership institutes for faculty, staff, and undergraduate women. Membership in the Consortium is open to all genders, race, ethnicity, age, and sexual orientation.

Please join us for what will be an engaging and enlightening conference
